Here’s The Deal: Meet the Team!

Cheers to 2022! We are more than grateful to be entering our seventh year of business and we wouldn’t be here without your loving support and contribution. As we enter into this new season, we believe it is important to highlight the people on our team who make it all happen.

Manuel Cordray

What we know and love as Catering by Cordré today first developed in the mind of Manuel, aka ‘Manny’, Cordray back in 2015. Since the company’s inception, he has touched hearts and gratified palates through his role as Executive Chef, specializing in business development. His hometown is Lexington, Kentucky, “home of the bluegrass, thoroughbreds and great bourbon.” The Lobster Spinach Crab Cakes with Sweet Corn Hash and Citrus Aioli is his favorite dish. However, the taste doesn’t compare to the satisfaction he receives in developing his staff and seeing the company evolve, surpassing his greatest expectations. Outside of the job, his main focus is family, cherishing the free-time by y binge-watching movies and riding his motorcycle.

Eduardo Cruz

Eduardo Cruz has been a part of the company since its humble beginnings, creatively serving as Sous Chef. He’s originally from Mexico City, Mexico and to him, the best part of his job is cooking up different dishes for people to enjoy. His all-time favorite food to cook and eat, without a doubt, is the Crispy Chicken Sandwich because of its unique flavor profile. When he’s not working, you’ll find him spending time with his family and simply enjoying life.

Felicia Cordray

We all know the famous saying ‘Behind every great man is a great woman.’ Felicia Cordray is that great woman who rears from Lexington, Kentucky, and has been working as the Chief Operating Officer at Cordré for seven years. In her own words, her contributions are the most fulfilling when she is met with the opportunity to attend events and socialize with the guests. Cordré’s Crab Cakes also have a special place in her heart. When she isn’t working, she spends her time with family, doing yard work outdoors, and traveling.

Chelsey Paysuer

Chelsey Payseur serves as Event Manager and Bartender, and she is also native to Charlotte, North Carolina. She’s been working with Cordré so long that she doesn’t remember the early days. However, she is more than aware of the company’s impact on her growth. She now leads by example and loves working with a passionate team that cares about their input as much as their output. She enjoys cooking on her own, but nothing compares to Cordré’s Chilled Jumbo Rosemary Shrimp/Prawns. Her other hobbies include singing, dancing, visiting amusement parks and arcades.
